About Wild Horse Golf Club
Wild Horse Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Gothenburg, Nebraska, opened in 1998 and designed by Dan Proctor and Dave Axland. Built on the natural rolling sand hills, it plays as a true links-style course with no trees and no water, just firm turf, native grasses, and 68 bunkers that demand smart positioning. Often called a more accessible cousin to nearby Sand Hills, Wild Horse has earned national recognition from Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and Golfweek. Sitting right off I-80, it ranks among the best value golf courses in the country. It also ranks among the best public courses in the state.
