Poco Creek Golf Course

Poco Creek Golf Course in Aurora, Nebraska has been around since 1922. It is the only regulation course in the state that opens with back to back par 3s. The creek that gives it its name shows up on nearly every hole, turning what looks like a manageable nine into something with real teeth. The one exception is hole number four, a par 4 that seemingly leaves the property and sends you through a neighboring housing subdivision before rejoining the rest of the course. Quirky layout. Hundred year old course. The creek will get you if you don't pay attention to it.
